The Tai Sui of 2021 Taboos and Appeasements

 

The Tai Sui is also known as the “Grand Duke Jupiter” since his movements follow

that of the planet Jupiter.  He is regarded by the Chinese as the God of the Year and in charge of all matters that happen on earth so naturally, it is important to appease him. There are 60 different Tai Sui’s, all represented by famous generals in ancient China and the Tai Sui for 2021 is General Yang Xin.

This general is revered in Chinese history due to his strong and unyielding loyalty.  His presence this year suggests difficulty in negotiations between world leaders with little chance of compromise.  Such difficulties may also be experienced by companies, businesses and families so it is beneficial to carry a harmony amulet.

The Tai Sui changes location every year, so please make note of where he is located each year.  It’s not difficult to remember, because he always resides in the place that corresponds to the animal sign of the year.  Thus in 2021, Year of the Metal Ox, he is located in the Northeast (NE1, 22.5 – 37.5 degrees) on the compass – the home of the OX. 

There are certain taboos associated with the Tai Sui which you must take note of:

• Do not face the Tai Sui directly when you work, sleep or eat. Although his location is only 15 degrees (NE1) it is advised NOT to face NE (45 degrees) at all in 2021. Note:  Even if this is one of your best directions according to the Kua formula, you must not face NE in 2021.  If your desk or dining area is now facing NE, please rearrange.
• Do not renovate in this location in 2021 in your home or office or make any unnecessary loud banging noises here.

Tai Sui Plaque for 2021

Good for the Ox, Not the Sheep:  When the Tai Sui enters the animal location of the year (NE/OX in 2021), the animal is blessed with good fortune and the support of the Tai Sui.  It is known as “sharing the space” with the God of the Year.  If you are of the OX sign, you should pay homage to him to ensure his support continues uninterrupted.  You should display the Tai Sui Plaque in NE1 direction of your home and carry the Tai Sui Amulet.

If you are of the sheep sign, then you are in direct clash with the Tai Sui as your sign is located directly opposite the Tai Sui’s position of NE1.  Two other signs, the Dog and the Dragon are located 90 degrees from the Tai Sui position, so they are said to be in “Side Clash” with him.

These three signs must display the Tai Sui Plaque in the home in NE1 and carry the Tai Sui Amulet. If you are a dog, dragon or sheep you need to make a special effort to appease the Tai Sui in 2021.

Note:  It is beneficial for all animal signs to carry the Tai Sui Amulet and place the Tai Sui Plaque in the location of NE1.  Please make this special effort to appease the God of the Year.
