STONE OF THE MONTH~ Amethyst Crystals

Amethyst with its pale to deep purple coloring reminds us of royalty and the Divine. Referred to as the Bishop's Stone, it has a rich and ancient history dating back to the Israelites and the holy Breast Plate of Arron. Its purple color is associated with St. Germaine and the Archangel Zadkiel. Both keepers of the Divine Path of healing, service to humanity and spiritual humility.
Each continent of the world produces its own unique form of Amethyst. Brazil brings a medium to dark purple Amethyst that carries a high frequency suitable for meditation and for relieving a nervous stomach or indigestion. It is the most prevalent of the Amethysts.
Vera Cruz Amethyst, from Mexico, grows in a pale lavender to occasional medium purple. It is frequently double terminated with phantoms and grows with six uniform sides typical of octahedral quartz formation rather than the more common alternating sided large-small, large-small, large-small Brazilian varieties. Vera Cruz Amethyst holds a gentle and quiet vibration that’s perfect for aiding your sleep patterns, for relaxing after a stressful day or soothing a headache. It is also a great stone for connecting with spirit teachers and guides. The evasive Guerrero Amethyst (Mex.) has clearly seen phantoms of deeper purple within. They are your best friends when meeting your Spirit Teachers and will assist in working with these divine spiritual beings.
Growing in Madagascar is the Candle Amethyst, or Pine Cone Amethyst, formations. I’ve found these to be a great aid in stabilizing astral travel and for higher dimensional work during channeling.
Also available are Amethyst Druzy and Geodes that, when placed in the center of the home, bring a strong sense of relaxation and grounded-ness to the environment. Pets love these stones and calm down within 24 hours of placing them in the home, in their water dish and/or in and around their sleeping pallets.
Canadian Amethyst, trademarked Auralight, grows with smokey quartz and hematite inclusions. Here is a brilliant mineral that grounds, protects and enlightens simultaneously. Auralight is a high vibration stone that is unassuming and unpretentious, it supports the greater good for the benefit of the singular. It encourages enlightenment you may have been avoiding… that dream you’ve been postponing, that soul link that you’ve been blinded to because of 3-D obligations and distractions.
Bolivian Amethyst is the one stone that naturally combines golden Citrine within the purple Amethyst. Named Ametrine, is a balanced mineral of physical manifestation and higher consciousness…focus and dreaming in one piece.
And the highly sought after Uruguayan Amethyst is the darkest purple of this group. It has a warm and vibrant vibration of well-being and peace. While usually more expensive than its Brazilian cousin, it is well worth the cost.
Amethyst can be used for inducing sleep, relieving headaches, soothing stomach upsets, easing addictive behavior or as support in meditation and channeling. It is peaceful and calming. It has a long history of aiding spiritual growth and supporting those within the spiritual communities.
It is beautiful worn as a natural crystal pendant or vibrant purple beads, or keep a tumbled Amethyst stone in your pocket to roll between your fingers and calm you during stressful situations. No matter how it's used Amethyst will undoubtedly share its joy.
Whatever variety of Amethyst you are drawn to it will remind you to listen to the still small voice within. It asks you to release old beliefs and patterns that you may open the pathways of possibility and Divine Truths.
