Do You Need A New Bed?

Well there are certainly lots of styles and sizes of beds available today to choose from.
If you’re feeling tired when you wake up there could be a logical explanation so do read this entire article. And once you have a new bed, make sure that you position it according to your lucky kua number direction along with other basic feng shui guidelines and you should be fine! 
In general, note that canopy style beds are excellent as they protect and shield you, while a proper headboard is always desirable as it provides support from behind. All beds should be solid for good sleeping support and have a solid wall behind. You don’t want to have your bed “floating” in the middle of the room - even if it means not sleeping in one of your best kua directions – it’s better to have support behind your head.

Here are the best bed styles for your animal sign using the productive cycle of the 5- element formula:

Snake and Horse: these signs belong to the fire element so a wooden bed would be an excellent choice. They will be unwell and exhausted if they sleep on a low bed on a cement floor since this earth element exhausts fire. Naturally no water beds for these fire signs either.

Dog, Dragon, Ox and Sheep: These four animals belong to the earth element so anything representing fire benefits the earth element. Think of red duvet or anything else red. However, if they sleep on a wooden bed or wood floor it will exhaust them. Likewise, a brass or metal bed doesn’t work for these earth signs either. 
Boar and Rat: These are water signs and they will benefit from brass or metal bedframes. Wooden beds and furniture will exhaust them as will anything red.

Tiger and Rabbit: Belong to the wood element so wooden beds and furniture are excellent for them. Water beds are not stabilized or good in feng shui, and so should not be used. However, since these wood folks benefit from water, they can use blue sheets and duvet covers to symbolize the water element. Naturally anything fire-related, like red sheets is harmful and will sap their energy.


Monkey & Rooster: These two animal signs belong to the metal element. So, anything earthy like beige or yellow is okay. Of course, white or gray sheets (representing the metal element) would be the best. Water beds are not good and would be very harmful as they suppress metal.
