An image of Yue Lao the god of marriage and love.
The statue can be found in the Wong Tai Sin temple in Hong Kong.
We Chinese believe that the God of Marriage lives in the moon hence the yin energy of the moon stimulates the luck of marriage. However, if you’re not yet ready for marriage and just want to meet people and have a more active social life, then you need to boost certain sectors of your home with sun yang energy. By the way, if you are already married but want more social activity and friends, this sun yang works for you too.
Place lamps with red or yellow lampshades (or lanterns if you prefer) in the south-west corner of your home. Be sure you stand in the center of your home and use an accurate compass to locate your south-west corner.
Sun energy is what you are after, so look for paintings and decorate objects that incorporate images of the sun or scenes bathed in sunlight.
Many of you may already have incorporated decorative crystals into your home décor. These are excellent in the southwest and even better if you can give them a sunshine bath for 3-4 hours in the late morning/early afternoon sun. This not only recharges the inherent energy, but the strong bright sunshine will destroy lingering negative energy that may be stored inside from anger energy or arguments. Be sure to place crystals in the earth corners of your living and dining areas – the earth corners are southwest and northeast.
The peach blossom star #4 has flown to the Southwest this year and if you have been following my flying star feng shui advice you know that this star makes you more sociable and attuned to romance and romantic inclinations so be sure to enhance even more with specific love symbols if you are looking for a partner. Kurukulle, one of the manifestations of Red Tara is particularly powerful, and be sure to carry the 9-Tailed White Fox Amulet if you already have your eye on someone special.
