Your body is an amazing machine. And just like a car it requires regular maintenance.
Our bodies keep us nurtured and functioning properly, but we must also be nurturing them back. In order to run efficiently, we must love our bodies and give it the proper nutrients. There are many reasons that our bodies break down and get sick: the environment, our genes, diet and stress among other things. We have to feed our bodies with good food and take care of them with exercise in order to live a long and healthy life.
Oftentimes we are so busy we don’t even realize the stress we put on our bodies. Getting sick is your body’s way of telling you to slow down and take a break. Our emotions travel everywhere in our bodies. They affect our organs according to what is going on in our lives. This is why it’s important to implement a self-care routine. If we are not aware of an emotional situation it will come through intuitively.
Our bodies are very intuitive and emotional situations in our life come through our body’s intuition. We can gain insight through our five earthbound senses. This is why meditation or alone time is very important. It allows us to go deep within ourselves and allows our bodies to adjust to what our thoughts are creating. Our bodies can tell when something is out of balance in our lives, even if it isn’t clear in our conscious minds.
We must bring our attention to the messages our bodies give us through intuition. Along with science and medicine, we can use these tools to create healthier lives for ourselves. This is why I stress positive affirmations and meditation. We can heal our bodies and prevent sickness through these practices.
You’re probably wondering, “Well where do I even start to understand my body’s intuition?” First, we must start by being open to every healing modality available to create health and happiness. This can include vitamins, herbs and medicines, meditation, surgery and nutritional supplements. Everyone’s body is different and respond to things differently. Try different things, stay positive and definitely make sure you do one thing each day that takes care of you.
Our thoughts are very powerful and our bodies know when we’re overexerting ourselves. Stay happy and healthy, dear ones.
