Whether we like to admit it or not, our handbags are the ultimate storehouse of junk.
Check your bag or purse right now. Are there any old receipts, credit card slips, odd bits of paper, ticket stubs, lipsticks, business card, pens, notes to yourself, loose coins, combs and other crazy personal effects? Aha…I thought so. Well, don’t worry…you are not alone.
If you are trying to attract good fortune and money luck (who isn’t?) then keeping your purse or handbag, along with your wallet clear of clutter is a must. It’s not enough to dejunk your surroundings at home…you must also clear all that excess “stuff” that has accumulated in your purse and wallet. This goes for backpacks as well!
Here’s what to do:
- Go through your bag once a week and get rid of any unnecessary articles.
- Replace the items that you use and need into your purse in an orderly fashion.
- Always place amulet protection inside your bag – especially this year with the robbery star 7 in the center of the chart. A good amulet to have in your bag is the Anti-Robbery Amulet with Elephant and Rhino
- Remove some coins if you have too many – they make your bag heavy.
- Separate the receipts, credit card slips and any other important papers and put them in a separate pouch or wallet inside your purse. Lillian’s Wealth Wallets are wonderful for this - choose a wealth-spouting mongoose wallet in gold or silver designed for year of the metal rat.
- Place three coins tied with a red string inside your wallet – this attracts money luck.
- If possible, keep a dollar bill or some money from a rich person’s pocket in your own wallet at all times to attract more wealth energy to you.
- Get rid of soiled money -change it for new money if you can.
- Organize the currency in your wallet so that you keep the various denominations in order.
- If the wallet you use inside your handbag is old or grubby, get a new one. It is bad feng shui to use a worn-out, old wallet. Don’t be sentimental!
