Affirmations to Reduce Stress And Help Your Mind Relax


"It is so easy to relax" There is a lot of pressure and competition to succeed in life – we
see this in our daily work and among friends and associates. Things are moving at lightning speed today and one of the greatest causes of stress is the inability to relax. I like to use affirmations like “it is so easy to relax” to help persuade my mind to take an occasional rest. Affirmations are a powerful and easy way to make the mind relax. If you simply tell your mind that it is easy to do, it ensures that when you close your eyes even for a five-minute break, you will be able to reap the benefits. It is so easy to relax.

"I am cool and calm" This is an important affirmation especially if you are in a high-pressure, demanding job or if you are a workaholic type “A” personality that never stops or relaxes. Calming reassurances addressed to the mind help it keep it’s cool. This is especially important for those with explosive tempers or those who suffer from high blood pressure and hypertension, and it is also a great affirmation for everyone to use.

"I can cope easily and effortlessly" Another major cause of stress is our inability to cope with the demands and pressures that face us every day. This may be due to a crisis on the job, problems in our homelife or in personal relationships. Some issues become magnified and compounded by other things going wrong at exactly the same time. We feel overwhelmed and if no action is taken this type of stress can lead to physical problems like ulcers or migraines. It is therefore vital to constantly keep repeating this affirmation if you are in such a situation - I can cope easily and effortlessly - think of it as a stress-relieving mantra! When you repeat this affirmation, you are convincing your mind that you can cope easily and effortlessly with whatever stress you face. Gradually you will find that things become less stressful.

During the holiday season there are additional pressures to please others and take care of family matters. Do yourself a favor and try using the above affirmations, when appropriate, to help your mind relax, remain calm and to cope easily and without effort to problematic situations so that you can really enjoy the season.
