Welcome the Lap Chun in 2020

A good sign for the upcoming year of the metal rat is that the Lunar New Year falls on
January 25th, before the Lap Chun (February 4, 2020), which means we can say that the new year has the Lap Chun. This is an auspicious indication! The Lap Chun (February 4) corresponds to the start of SPRING, which brings the promise of new beginnings and a new season of GROWTH!

Now if the Lunar New Year were to fall after February 4th, 2020, we would say the year is “missing the Lap Chun” which is inauspicious as it suggests that the year has no auspicious start and no true beginning.

But getting back to growth…there is excellent spring luck for the year so those of you wanting to start new projects and initiate new undertakings can do so and be confident in the knowledge that 2020 is a good year to pursue new directions. Growth is assured!

It is also good to decorate your home with symbolic “spring” things like pussy willows, yellow chrysanthemums and peonies during the New Year. Yellow chrysanthemums are particularly nice being filled with an abundance of petals they bring increasing prosperity luck during the new year. You can place in auspicious vases throughout your home or on your family as an offering to your Buddha or God that you worship.

Activate the Lap Chun
Activate the Lap Chun by carrying this year’s specially designed Annual Amulet 2020, which features the ruling animal sign of the year, the Rat on one side with the lotus and flowers to signify growth. On the opposite side you’ll find the Rat’s astrological ally, the mighty Dragon with the Ru Yi and ingots for power and wealth. Everyone should carry this amulet in 2020. The amulet symbolizes you benefitting fully from the presence of the Lap Chun and protects you against the worst of its afflictions!

Good Luck!

Lillian
