We often display animal figures in our home, as they are powerful feng shui symbols.
Here are some tips and extra advice to maximize their potency and protective powers.

Dragons: Of course, we all love dragons because they bring prosperity and success. Now, to increase their potency be sure they are placed near water – something like a fountain or aquarium or outside by a pond with moving water. Never put dragons near the fire or in your kitchen or bedroom. If you’re deciding what dragon image to purchase, a gold one carrying a pearl is always a good choice. When considering how many dragons to display choose one, two, five, six or nine as these numbers activate the dragon image. Don’t keep your dragon(s) locked up in a glass display case – they must be free to fly upward. You may also like to wear a beautiful dragon ring or brooch too help ward off bad energy.

Horses: Horses bring recognition and fame. A single black horse is often considered the victory horse and if you can find an image of the wealth god Tsai Shen Yeh leading a tribute horse (into your home) even better! This is a powerful symbol of wealth. One thing you don’t want is a painting or picture of horses running in panic as this brings fear and misfortune. And workhorses are not good to display as they suggest work and no recognition.

Tortoises: These bring tons of good energy and you can have as many as you like. However, a single tortoise is usually thought to be the best form of protection. Place them at the back of your house or in the north sector of the garden. Golden tortoises with dragon heads are even more potent as protector images.
