Cramped spaces, dark corners and narrow hallways may not appear to be dangerous to
your health and success, but they are. Your room may feel cramped because it is just extremely small in size or the ceilings are too low. Or maybe you have accumulated too much junk, too many cartons or furniture stored in a small space. You can be sure in such cases that the chi or energy will become stale and stagnate causing illness, lack of vitality, and fatigue. When rooms or sectors of your home are cramped with little space to move about, you feel uncomfortable, congested and lack energy.

These same remedies work for narrow hallways and tight staircases. Be sure such areas are painted white, kept clear of cartons or rubbish, and kept brightly lit at all times. You can hang nice pictures and even a wall mirror to visually improve the space.
If you’re feeling tired or lethargic or things aren’t flowing smoothly in your life, check your home and/or apartment thoroughly. Taking care of cramped, dark spaces and narrow hallways will immediately change the energy flow and your luck as well. There is no better time to do this than now since it is Hungry Ghost Month and spirits love to gather in places where yin energy is predominant.
