Khoi Vinh: Adobe’s New Principal Designer

Khoi believes Adobe is “a new kind of company emerging from the old one,” and, “is more
designer-focused than ever before.” With the software company’s recent acquisition of Mixamo, as well as a 2015 Creative Cloud update (complete with companion mobile app), it’s clear that Adobe is taking steps in the right direction for designers everywhere. According to Khoi, who wasn’t able to do much hands-on design at The New York Times, Adobe’s new vision, “looks exactly like the one that [Khoi aspires] for the market; one in which software giants, indie developers and everyone in between are all able to make the creative ecosystem better in their own ways.” We can’t speak directly to what Adobe and Khoi Vinh have in store for the future of design, but we’re sure it’s going to be great.
